Synopsis: Xinxin who lost his cat before the typhoon, but his grandma tells him that the person who loves each other will meet again. One night, attracted by the sound of a music box in the stairwell, he spots a strange man smoking in the stairwell. He throws candy at the man to stop him smoking. The next day, Xinxin and the man meet again in the stairwell. After some conversation, he inadvertently passes on the concept that his Grandma told him to the man. Soon after, Xinxin's cat comes back to him, and he posts a note on the window of the stairwell telling this good news to the man.

Welcome to the New Filmmakers Austin . This is a festival for short films. We accept films from all over the world. The main criterion for participating in the festival is artistic criteria and merits. Considering Texas’s tremendous importance
in the North American cinematic environment and our professional platform, we hope to provide a suitable environment for the introduction of short films and

The above program will be held bi-monthly. This structure allows the filmmaker to be informed of his work’s result in the shortest time possible. Reminders of the city's turbulent 20th-century history can be seen in the parts of city. The city's also known for its art scene and modern landmarks like the gold-coloured, swoop-roofed Berliner Philharmonic, built in 1963. We encourage you to submit your work to this online event.
The selected projects are privately judged by a random team of invited experts from academia and the film industry worldwide, against a high standard of merit.
